PENSA UCC HANDOVER SERVICE

By the grace of God PENSA UCC Local Committee Members for the year 2014/2015 tenure of leadership came to a successful end on the 15th November, 2015. To climax this, a handover service was held on the University of Cape Coast, Casford field to usher in new leaders to steer the affairs of PENSA UCC for the next academic year (2015/2016). This was a transition from Elder Ebenezer Kusi's (Outgoing president) led administration to Elder Nicholas who is the newly inducted president. This wondrous service was chaired by Apostle Samuel Otu Appiah (Personal Assistant to Chairman - Church of Pentecost). Also in attendance were Pastor Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo (PENSA Travelling Secretary - Central Sector), Alumni and Past Presidents of PENSA UCC with other special dignitaries who came to support and grace the occasion. In a message presented by Apostle Samuel Otu Appiah, which was titled JUDGEMENT OF OUR CHRISTIAN SERVICE, He congratulated the outgoing Central Committee members for a good work done in uplifting PENSA UCC to a different standard. He admonished the new leadership to work diligently and faithful as leaders who have a responsibility and will be accountable to the Lord Jesus. The difference between a faithful and an unfaithful servant lies in the knowledge and confidence they have in their master. He said as leaders and members of God's church we must yearn to know God more to boost our confidence level in Him. He added that knowing Christ is through the reading and meditating of His word (Bible). We must endeavour to know who God really is and with this knowledge we will always do what He expects of us. In conclusion, he said a wicked person according to God's standard is someone who fails to do good. The Bible describes such a person as wicked and such persons will not inherit the kingdom of God. If you have the opportunity to do good, we must do it because one day we will account for it. The induction was led by Apostle Samuel Otu Appiah and also prayed for the church and the newly inducted executives.
