The travelling secretary of PENSA Central sector, Rev. Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo worshipped with the PENSA members of University of Cape Coast on the 17th May, 2015 to climax PENSA service for the Academic year. This was also the last service for the final year students PENSA UCC as they were about to graduate.
Speaking on the theme "REWARDS OF STEWARDSHIP" he started by explaining that A Steward is someone who manages another man's property. He said stewards work with the mind that they been put to charge of another's property of which they are accountable. How the management is done defines our stewardship as they portray the way we handle our gifting received from God.
Three different kinds of stewards were also mentioned to include;
- Prize winners: They are those who receive good rewards and work to their master's satisfaction. He added that our spiritual gifts are meant to build the church and affect lives positively. The prize winners make very good use of their gifts and are rewarded in the end of their stewardship.
- Survivors: They are simply those who maintain whatever rewards received from their masters. They play in order to survive and easily get afraid or pull back when there is a problemin their stewardship. Their main motive is only to survive and win no prize in the end.
- Ruined Stewards: The last aspect of stewardship he spoke about were the ruined stewards who are only meant to destroy or ruin an action. They neither survive nor receive any good rewards at the end.
After enlightening members on the various kinds of stewardship, he admonish members to strive to be the PRIZE WINNERS who only work hard for their masters satisfaction and are being rewarded at the end. He said the prize winners are the best kind of stewards.
In conclusion, he touched on the qualities of a good steward which include pleasing God at all time, benefitting others with their service, not being anxious of life but always prayerful and always achieve great rewards of service.
