TWIFO PRASO NURSING & MIDWIFERY TRAINING COLLEGE HANDOVER CEREMONY

A handover ceremony was held on Sunday May 24, 2015 at Twifo Praso Nursing and Midwifery Training College to climax the 2014/2015 academic year of PENSA TPNMTC Branch and for new leaders to take over the mantle of PENSA leadership. The PENSA Travelling Secretary for Central Sector Pastor Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo, Elder Daniel Takyi Boadu (Former President- PENSA UCC), the PENSA patron of PENSA TPNMTC, Past and Current Executives of the Association were there to grace the occasion.
This ceremony started with a speech by the outgoing President, Gideon Fosu who gave an overview of their tenure of office as PENSA leaders, which included their achievements and challenges. After his speech, Pastor Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo mounted the podium to give a powerful message on the theme “STEWARDS WITH INTEGRITY”. He said Christians are stewards because something, which is not theirs, has been entrusted in their care of which they will be accountable to their master who is the Lord Jesus Christ. Stewardship goes with responsibility and being answerable for one’s actions.
Integrity on the other hand refers to the quality of being honest and fair. He said a man of integrity is someone who is complete or whole.
The components of integrity were mentioned to include; Incorruptibility, which is the state of not being corrupt irrespective of the environment one finds him/herself.
Reading from Daniel chapter 6, he said Daniel was a man of integrity … but they could find no ground for complaint or any fault, because he was faithful, and no error or fault was found in him-Daniel 6:4b(ESV)

A man of integrity lives in harmony both moral and social life. He said anytime one is put in leadership position there should be prosperity and anyone with the presence of God in his life should cause a change wherever they are placed.

In conclusion he said our world is so corrupt that if one wants to lead a life of integrity he/she becomes odd but as Christians, we should strive to be part of the few and not to follow the crowd, as Joseph stood exceptional in the mist of all difficulties and our master Jesus shall reward us in the end.
