"DROP THAT HOMOSEXUALITY"

As part of the week long activities of the Atlantic Hall Ladies Association (ATLAS) of the University of Cape Coast, the travelling secretary for PENSA Central sector-Rev Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo was invited on Saturday 29th August to speak on the topic Drop That Homosexuality.  In attendance were the JCRC Executives of ATL Hall-UCC, President and Executive Member of PENSA UCC, the wife of the travelling secretary and other dignitaries who were also there to support and grace the occasion.
Rev. Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo started by defining what the term homosexuality means, what the bible says about the act, and the effects of being a homosexual as well as some of the ways that could be used to identify homosexuals. He added that Homosexuality is a threat not only to the Church but the survival of the human race and world security.

Rev. Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo attending to a question

It is an evil act that does not respect religion, which simply means that the more it increases the less religious the people become. He said throughout history, all civilizations and all major religions condemned homosexuality  (Paul Cameron, Ph.D.) and we must also stand firm to express complete disapproval of the act. He added that if the Church does not speak now, her efforts would be futile when the homosexuals make great strides in Ghana and moreover the easiest way to destroy Africa is through homosexuality.  This is because we cannot manage the negative moral and health impact of Homosexuality.

In conclusion he said Homosexuals are sexually troubled people engaging in dangerous activities and because we care about them and those tempted to join them, it is important that we neither encourage nor legitimize such a destructive lifestyle.
