THE ULTIMATE FOCUS
The eagle is a bird that can focus. By its focal ability, it is able to catch its victim. By this ultimate ability, it is able to see something from afar and move towards it without missing it. It can locate a fish in water from the sky, in fact, it catches the fish. Look at these two realms, the air and water. By its focus, it is able to move from the air into water for its food. That is the power of focus in relation to the eagle.
Whenever the power of a christian is being spoken of, the eagle is one of the animals that is used in symbolism. Now the bible is talking about our focus.
(NIV) Heb 12:2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Jesus actually was a man of focus. He saw the joy laid before Him. By this joy, He removed His focus from all that was being done to Him. He was focused on what was going to happen after all what was done to Him. He was focused on seeing the redemption of man who was under the bondage of sin and death. He was bent on accomplishing the mission that was going to make Him reconcile man to God. He was made sin for us so that we will be that nature of His righteousness (2 Cor 5:18-21).
What do you think we christians must do at our time? We must remain focused. We must fix our eyes on the victory Jesus has given us. We must press on our way into the promise. We those alive are not the first. Others have made it. Let us look at another person who had this focus, Stephen.
The bible says that Stephen's face showed like the face of an angel. How come that happened? It happened because of his focus. At the time of being stoned, the focus of Stephen was spoken of. His eyes were on Jesus who is at the right hand of God, being in the fullness of the power of God. As a result of his focus, he prayed for those who were stoning him (Acts 6:15, 7:56-60). That is the power of focusing on the ultimate, Christ Jesus. When we focus on Him, we will not be taken by the persecution of the world. Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith is waiting for us.
Finally, if by focus the eagle can move from the realm of the air to the realm of water for its food, then by this focus on Jesus, we will move from the realm of this world into the spiritual world to possess our possessions. But upon Mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be Holiness. What happens after this? The house of Jacob shall possess their possessions (Obadiah 17). Peace.
You have heard the issue of spiritual possession, you do not want to remain without this possession. For this reason you want to get linked to the Lord Jesus Christ. The door has not been closed. Jesus is ready to accept you. He loves you so much. You can use the prayer below as a guide to get linked up.
Prayer: Father, I thank you for your grace upon my life. I believe Jesus died to save me from your wrath. He resurrected from the dead for my justification. This day, I accept Him as my Lord and personal Savior. I will worship you in Him all the days of my life. Amen
Having said this prayer faithfully, you have been joined to the wonderful family of God. For your growth in the Lord, get a church that deals with the unadulterated word of God. Fellowship there as we all await the second coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. You are blessed.
