Reverend Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo who is the travelling secretary of PENSA Central sector paid a visit to Ghana National College, Cape Coast-PENSA Branch to meet the current and soon to be leaders of PENSA.
Speaking on the theme "EXCLUSIVE CLAIM OF CHRIST" he started by defining what the term exclusive means. To be exclusive means to be already established and needs no further arguments to qualify it. He stressed that as believers and leaders for that matter, the decisions they make has not only impact on themselves but also the church and their immediate relatives.
Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” And they said, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar- Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Then he strictly charged the disciples to tell no one that he was the Christ(Matthew 16:13-20)
In a short sermon he touched on Peter's Confession as Jesus is the Christ, He added by saying Jesus Christ is fully man (because He was conceived by the virgin Mary) and fully God(because He's not a product of spermatozoa). Those who are under the conviction of the Holy Spirit see him as the son of the living God and needs no argument to attest to the fact that JESUS IS LORD.
He continued by declaring that salvation cannot be found in any man except God through our Lord Jesus Christ. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved(Acts 4:12)
Moreover he advised the students that conversion and conviction is not done by flesh and blood and as leaders they should be aware that God who converts and calls is the one who does the calling.
He ended by encouraging them to study very hard so as to become great men and women to promote the growth of Christianity in the country and the world at large.
