DEALING WITH ACTS OF SIN
It remains a fact that one must not continue to be in the same room with the opposite sex while he/they can smell lust around, thinking they are filled with the Holy Ghost. There are certain things that man must do. In such a situation, if one knows that his/her shoes will prevent him from running, he/she has to remove them and put into the bag, or at best, hold the pair and run out with the kind of speed that even Husein Bolt has never dreamt of. We are talking about certain things that man must do.
Brethren, when it comes to sin and its related issues, let us not give an inch. Satan takes up the driving if he is given a lift. He takes a mile when he is allowed to take a step.
How do people give chance to satan? It begins from our most secret lives. From the things we allow in our hearts to the things we save on our phones and laptops. We need a sound mind to operate in God. That is why God has given that spirit (2 Tim 1:7). Do not do things that will imprison your mind. The things we talk about and the things we watch, all these contribute to make people sin. It extends to the things we do and the places we love to go.
Most times, we hide these from our leaders. Secret evil lives can easily lead one to hell. Any part of your life which you will be ashamed of when your pastor sees should be put under screening.
All these secret evil deeds will continue to take place if the eye of one's faith does not see the invisible, Jesus. Look at something about Moses again.
(NIV) Hebrews 11:27 By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king's anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible.
Some people will tell you that they will have no food to eat if they should stop an evil that makes them earn some money. Well, the money becomes the king of the person's life. The evil act stands for one's Egypt. The bible says that it is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich. There is no sorrow connected to this kind of wealth (Prov 10:22). But remember the Lord your God, for it is He that gives you power to get wealth (Deut 8:18). Can't you see that it is marvellous? The path to true riches is in the way of the Lord.
It does not matter where you have reached. It is not too late to come out of that sin. If you have not yet decided on giving your life to Jesus, now is the time to allow Jesus to format all viruses (evil) in your life and get Himself installed. He is the operating system (eternal life) of lives that no virus can overcome.
Jesus is inviting you to pray this prayer from your heart and be joined to Him.
Prayer: Father, I thank you for your grace upon my life. I believe Jesus died to save me from your wrath. He resurrected from the dead for my justification. This day, I accept Him as my Lord and personal Saviour. I will worship you in Him all the days of my life. Amen
Having said this prayer faithfully, you have been joined to the wonderful family of God. For your growth in the Lord, get a church that deals with the unadulterated word of God. Fellowship there as we all await the second coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. You are blessed.
