PENSA HAND OVER CEREMONY-KWEGYIR AGGREY SHS

On the 22nd March 2015, a handover ceremony was held at Kwegyire Aggrey Senior High School. This was to usher new PENSA executives to take over the mantle of leadership from their predecessors. The service was in two parts. The first part was a normal service. The patron (Eld. Mr. Sampson) was the speaker and he spoke on the theme "being a faithful steward of God in my generation." He made references to Mathew 25, where he  spoke concerning the 10 virgins. He emphasised on the fact that  every steward must be wise and  should be vigilant. Also, students should study very hard and manage their time so as not to waste precious time on unnecessary things even as leaders .He also  spoke about the parable of the master who travelled and entrusted his property to his servants (Mathew 25:14-21) he explained that every servant must render account of his stewardship to his Master and that we should be expecting our Master to say to us  "well done , good and faithful servant."
He adviced that the students should be law abiding and be submissive to authority so that they can freely relate to the authorities of the institution with reference to Romans 13:1-3.
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval.

Deacon Emmanuel Clottey led the church in fund raising and Elder Jude Mireku Gyan inducted the incoming executives into their respective offices. The immediate past executives bought a pulpit as well as a carpet for the association and it was dedicated by Elder Mireku Gyan (coordinator). The programme ended successfully by the grace of God.
