PENSA HAND-OVER CEREMONY AT GOMOA SENIOR HIGH TECHNICAL SCHOOL, DAWURAMPONG

By the grace of God a handover ceremony was held on Saturday March 14, 2015 to climax the 2014/2015 spiritual year of PENSA GOMOA SHTS Branch and for new leaders to take over the mantle of PENSA leadership. This ceremony was attended by lots of personalities including the travelling secretary of PENSA Central Sector Pastor Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo and Mrs. Agartha Agyei Kwafo (wife of the travelling secretary), Elder Emmanuel Henaku (Financial Secretary- Central working committee), Headmaster of the school and the PENSA patron.
The ceremony was chaired by the headmaster of the school who opened the function with an opening speech of which he commended PENSA for their enormous support during the fire outbreak in one of their dormitories, encouraged the students to take their studies very serious and also not to joke with their Christian life at all

After the headmaster’s opening speech, the travelling secretary Pastor Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo mounted the podium to present a message on the topic “YOU ARE HERE FOR A REASON”. Reading from Daniel 1:3 downwards he made reference to the story of Daniel, he said Daniel decided not to defile himself with the idol food that the king Nebuchadnezzar presented but because God had better plans for them. And at the end of the days which the king had appointed for bringing them in he found them ten times better than the Babylonians who took the king’s meal.
And in every matter of wisdom and understanding, concerning which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters that were in all his realm”. (Daniel 1:20-KJV).
He added by saying it doesn’t matter where one is coming from or the family one belongs to but the most important thing is having Christ in our life and with him alone everything is possible…Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).
There’s a reason for whatever we may be going through and shouldn’t compromise with evil things but standing firm in our Christian life God will show his glory in our lives.
He concluded by saying God wants to show forth his glory through us for all things work together for good for them that are with the Lord and assured the incoming executives that there’s a reason for being chosen as leaders of PENSA and should therefore work very hard for the glorification of God. A prayer was also said for the school, the headmaster, the students and the PENSA leaders.
